Vault Keys are obtained by defeating the Pinnacle Bosses of their associated Endgame content, with the exception of the Twilight Reliquary Key, which is a rare drop from random enemies.
Pinnacle Boss Drops and Guides
Vault Keys can also be obtained by visiting the Currency Exchange NPC in every Act. Currency Exchange becomes available in Cruel Difficulty which is unlocked after completing Act 3 on Normal difficulty.
Vault Keys are used by inserting it into a Reliquary Vault that you find in the Atlas. Simply place it in like you would a Waystone or Tablet, then click on the Traverse button.

Twilight Order Chests drop Foiled Uniques that have a different appearance and effects from the original version of the Unique item.

Vault Keys are used to open Reliquary Chests which are found in Reliquary Vault maps. Reliquary Chests contain Foiled Unique Items. A foiled Unique is essentially the same item but with different colors and an applied reflective effect
The pool of Unique Items in Reliquary Chests are nominated by players who purchase the Liberator of Wraeclast Supporter Pack. Players who wish to nominate an item must have the Unique Item in their inventory.
