How to Beat Azarian, the Forsaken Son

Tips on Beating Azarian, the Forsaken Son

Don't Let the Objects in the Corners Get Destroyed

Path of Exile 2 - Azarian Don

The objects in the corners of the arena are braziers that create scorched ground when broken. This ground ignites you, causing constant Fire damage. To avoid this, position yourself so that Azarian's attacks don't hit and shatter the braziers. Be cautious of your own attacks as well, as they can also damage the braziers if misdirected.

Stay in the Center of the Arena

Path of Exile 2 - Stay in the Center

If managing your attacks and Azarian's to preserve the braziers proves too difficult, scorched ground will likely spread across the arena. In this case, stay near the center to minimize exposure to the burning areas and conserve Life Flask Charges for critical moments.

Get Fire Resistance to Protect Yourself Against the Scorched Ground

Path of Exile 2 - Get some Fire Resistance

To better withstand the fight after the arena is surrounded by Burning Ground, increase your Fire Resistance through gear and charms. This will significantly reduce the damage you take from both the scorched ground and many of Azarian's Fire-based attacks.

Ruby Rings implicitly provides a chunk of Fire Resistance, making it an easy way to get Fire Resistance along with the Ruby Charm.
