For your Atlas passives, we recommend grabbing Unholy Influence, Sprawling Rupture, Lightless Legions and Dark Bloodlines in your Atlas tree.
Grabbing these passives improves the Abyss in your map, and is used to target farm Omens of Light and Omens of Abyssal Echoes to sell in the player market. Make sure to get Lightless Legions, as the monster with the Amanamu's Void is the only mob that can drop the specific omens.
It's important to note that the monsters within Amanamu's Void must be killed outside of the void cloud in order for the rarer omens to drop.
Killing them inside the void will only result in the more common item, Omen of Liege, to drop, so make sure to kill them outside of the void in order to obtain the rarer omens.
| How to Unlock Abyss Atlas Points | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Clear an Abyssal Pit in the Atlas Endgame |
| 2 | Clear an Abyssal Depth in the Atlas Endgame |
| 3 | Defeat One of the Two Possible Abyssal Depth Bosses |
| 4 | Defeat Kulemak in his Final Form |
Unlocking all the Atlas points for the Abyss atlas is a relatively straightforward process. It can be unlocked through normal gameplay by participating in Abyss events, with the exception of fighting Kulemak.

To combat Kulemak, a Kulemak's invitation, which must be used on the Well of Souls. To combat him in his final form, make sure to interact with the Ulaman's Storm, Kurgal's Grip, and Amanmu's Fracturing statues, and return the finger to the grip of Kulemak.
This will initiate the final encounter, which will allow you to obtain the Atlas Points upon defeat. While defeating Kulemak provides the option to change your class into the Abyssal Lich if you enter the fight using a Lich ascendancy, this is not required and any class can obtain the Atlas Point.

You will encounter the Abyss mechanic for the first time in the Mastodon Badlands, which you will visit as part of the A Theft of Ivory quest in Act II.
An Abyss Fissure will spawn, spawning enemies for you to defeat. Conveniently, the event occurs near the Well of Souls, which you can head into to finish the introductory Abyss questline and unlock the Abyss and Desecrated modifiers for the season.
An Abyss event can occur randomly during normal gameplay. It is easily identified by the appearance of Abyssal monsters from a nearby Abyssal Fissure. After defeating all the Abyssal monsters, including the elite monster that spawns, an Abyssal Trove containing various rewards will appear.
Completing an Abyss event has a chance to provide you with items such as Ancient Jawbone, which are used to apply Desecrated Modifiers to your gear.
Desecrated Modifiers and Abyss Crafting Guide
After completing an Abyss Fissure event, an Abyssal Depth may appear. This is another area where players can explore and battle additional abyss monsters. Abyssal Depths are always worth exploring due to the Abyss-exclusive rewards you can earn inside.
Note that the Abyssal Depth will disappear upon death. Proceed with caution, as you cannot return to that area, causing you to miss all additional rewards.
You can Modify Waystones with Abyss Tablets, guaranteeing that there will always be an Abyss event that will occur when that waystone is used.
This is essential to have if you want to farm Abyss maps repeatedly, as a single tablet allows you to modify at least 10 waystones.
