How to Unlock Clearing the Way

Talk to Risu in The Khari Bazaar

Unlock Clearing the Way by talking to Risu in The Khari Bazaar during the Recruit the Maraketh Interlude Quest.

Clearing the Way Objectives

Quest Objectives
1	Find the Howling Caves
2	Find and Defeat the Yeti
3	Give the Ice Tusks to Hilda

Travel to The Khari Crossing

Khari Crossing Open Arena
Once you start the Recruit the Maraketh Interlude Quest, talk to Risu within The Khari Bazaar. The next objective is the first area you will explore during the main quest, The Khari Crossing.

You will find the Akthi and Anundr boss area in an open arena with a checkpoint nearby. Make sure to explore all sides of The Khari Crossing to find the boss area.

Recruit the Maraketh Quest Walkthrough

Defeat Akthi and Anundr

Akthi and Anundr Boss Fight
During the fight against the bosses, watch out for quicksand. These areas significantly slow you down, and are lethal if you don't escape quickly.

Return to Risu

Once you defeat Akthi, the Final Sting and Anundr, the Sandworm, return to Risu in The Khari Bazaar. You will receive your reward and the quest will be complete.

Clearing the Way Rewards

・Book of Specialisation

Completing the Clearing the Way side quest grants you a Book of Specialisation, granting two additional passive skill tree points for your character.
