How Does Herald of Thunder Work?
Scales With Attack and Lightning Damage
The Herald of Thunder Spirit Gem scales by 93% of Attack Damage and releases it as additional Lightning Damage to nearby targets after killing an enemy inflicted with the Shocked effect.
When using this Spirit Gem, you should keep in mind that attacks from Herald of Thunder cannot inflict Shock. It works best when used in builds like Lightning Salvo Ranger and Lightning Wave Invoker since they have plenty of ways to apply Shock to targets.
Additionally, given its synergy with other lightning-based attacks, Coming Cataclysm is a great passive node to unlock as it boosts Lightning Damage while Herald of Thunder is active.
