Enter The Venom Crypts

You can unlock the quest The Slithering Dead by entering The Venom Crypts within the Jungle Ruins.

Explore The Venom Crypts Search the Corpse Take the Corpse-Snake Venom Talk to Servi and Choose a Venom Draught

Explore The Venom Crypts

From the Jungle Ruins, find the entrance to The Venom Crypts near the waypoint. Once inside The Venom Crypts, explore the area and look for the Den of the Serpent Priestess near a checkpoint.

Search the Corpse

Once inside the Den of the Serpent Priestess, interact with the Corpse, shown with green text.

Take the Corpse-Snake Venom

Upon interacting with the Corpse, a Corpse-Snake Venom will drop. It is an item with green text you can pick up.

Talk to Servi and Choose a Venom Draught

Once you have the Corpse-Snake Venom, complete the quest by returning to Ziggurat Encampment and talking to Servi. She will then ask you to choose between three Venom Draughts as a reward.

Best Venom Draught to Choose

Venom Draught of Clarity

The Venom Draught we recommend to take is the Venom Draught of Clarity. This will increase your Mana Regeneration Rate, which goes well with almost all of the classes in the game.

The only time we recommend choosing another vial is if you're playing a specific playstyle that will benefit from the other choices. If your playstyle revolves around tanking hits and damage you might want to consider either the Venom Draught of Stone or Venom Draught of the Veil for more survival.

Completing the quest will reward you with one out of three Venom Draughts. You can choose among the three different Venom Draughts to increase your stats permanently.
