Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) How to Use Corruption Altars

Corruption Altars are objects you can find in the real world where you can corrupt items in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2). Check out this guide to learn about where you can find Corruption Altars and how to use them!

How to Use Corruption Altars

Grab the Triangle from the Altar and Place on Item

After clicking on a Corruption Altar, a menu pops up with a triangle-shaped object in the middle. Click on the triangle to grab it and then drop it on an item in your inventory to corrupt the selected item.

Corrupting an item modifies its properties randomly and prevents the item from being modified again. So corrupting items should be the last step when modifying your items via crafting.

Can Be Found in Vaal Ruins During Normal and Cruel Act 3

You can find Corruption Altars during Act 3 at the Vaal Ruins, including Cruel Mode. They are not marked on the maps so you'll have to explore around to find the altars yourself. Remember that this mechanic can only be used once, so choose wisely!
