Use Jeweller's Orbs

Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) - Use a Jeweller
You must use a corresponding Jeweller's Orb to increase the amount of Support Gems you can allot to a skill. You can start getting Lesser Jeweller's Orb as a random drop during Act 3!

Each increase of a skill's support gem slot will warrant a higher rarity Jeweller's Orb to increase it to the next tier. For example, a Lesser Jeweller's Orb is only able to give a third slot on a Skill Gem that only has 2 Support Gem Slots!

To Increase Build Strength

The more Support Gem Slots a skill has, the more potential it has to synergize and make your build stronger. As an additional tip It would be best to only use a Jeweller's Orb if you are sure that the extra Support Gem you will slot in is substantial!
