How to Unlock Treacherous Ground

Talk to Renly Inside The Clearfell Encampment

It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and can also depend on what league you are playing in. The maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

Upon finishing the quest Reaching Clearfell, you can unlock the quest Treacherous Ground by continuing to talk to Renly inside The Clearfell Encampment after claiming the previous quest's rewards.

1. Search Clearfell for the Mud Burrow Entrance 2. Find the Devourer 3. Kill the Devourer

1. Search Clearfell for the Entrance to The Mud Burrow

Waypoint and Mud Burrow
Once you leave the encampment, explore Clearfell and look for the entrance to The Mud Burrow. Also keep an eye out for the waypoint within the area.

2. Find the Devourer

It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and can also depend on what league you are playing in. The maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

Inside the Mud Burrow, follow the tunnels to The Vile Nest to find the Devourer. Watch out for the enemies and checkpoints you will encounter en route.

3. Kill the Devourer

The Devourer burrows to move and attacks with its head, tail, and spawned Fresh Larvae. Return to Renly in Clearfell Encampment for your reward.
