The Stormweaver is an ascendancy of the Sorceress class in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that evokes the storm's wrath. Learn more about the Stormweaver's mechanics, its confirmed skills, as well as its base class!

Stormweavers, given their mastery over the element of lightning, evoke the very power of the storm to smite their foes down.
Every one of the Stormweaver's skills applies and amplifies the general principle of dealing Lightning and Shock damage to enemies, even when using different elements such as Fire and Ice. Listed below are the skills shown in the Stormweaver Ascendancy showcase:

Force of Will is the upgraded version of Arcane Surge unlocked from the Constant Gale passive node. Arcane Surge is a must-have status effect for Stormweavers as it increases Cast Speed and Mana Regeneration Rate. Force of Will scales this status effect based on mana pool.
Strike Twice is recommended for Stormweaver builds that utilize Lightning Damage as a major part of their offense. Applying two Shocks at the same time causes enemies to receive more damage from skills or attacks.
Rain Dancer is the upgraded version of Elemental Storm unlocked from the Tempest Caller passive node. Elemental Storm is an offensive skill that summons a damaging vortex based on the skills used. Rain Dancer allows the Stormweaver to summon multiple Elemental Storms in quick succession.
Arcane Surge boosts the Stormweavers offensive output by increasing Cast Speed and improving Mana Regeneration. Multiple elemental builds become better as it increases DPS and possibly survivability if you choose to take the Mind over Matter and Eldritch Battery passive skill nodes.
The Stormweaver's skills amplifies the ailments applied to enemies. The following ailments correspond to the specific element that they use: Shock for Lightning, Burn for Fire, and Freeze for Ice.
Skills such as Strike Twice and Heavy Snows amplify the ailments or exposure dealt to enemies to take them down faster.
The Stormweavers mastery over the elements gives them the power of storm, fire, and ice. Elemental Storm is an exclusive skill that summons a damaging vortex of elemental effect to damage enemies.

Cold Warp Stormweaver | Frost Bomb Creates a pulsing Orb of Frost. Each pulse inflicts Cold Exposure on nearby Enemies. When the Orb's duration ends, it explodes, dealing Cold damage to surrounding Enemies.
Frostbolt Fires a slow-moving projectile that leaves a wake of Chilled Ground, deals Cold Damage and explodes on colliding with terrain.
Hypothermia Curses all targets in an area after a short delay, lowering their Cold Resistance.
Frost Wall Creates a Wall of Ice Crystals which holds back enemies. The Crystals explode if sufficiently damaged, orif pushed hard enough, damaging nearby enemies..
Lightning Warp Teleports you inside the target's body, causing it to violently explode. Highlights enemies that can be culled, and can only be used on these enemies or Ball Lightning projectiles. The target is destroyed, and the explosion deals Lightning Damage to surrounding enemies and creates Shocked Ground.
Comet Calls down a mass of ice from the sky, dealing high damage at the targeted location. Targeting close to you will cause you to jump back as you cast.
Cast on Freeze While active, gains Energy when you Freeze enemies and triggers socketed spells on reaching maximum Energy.
Blink Replaces your dodge roll with a short-cooldown Spell that allows you to tunnel through space, instantly reappearing a medium distance away.

Spark Stormweaver | Spark Launches a spray of sparking projectiles that travel erratically along the ground until they hit an enemy or expire.
Flame Wall Creates a wall of fire in front of the character, which ignites everything within its area. Any projectiles fired through the wall by you and allies deal added fire damage and inflict ignite on hit.
Orb of Storms Creates an Orb of electricity that fires Chaining Lightning bolts at nearby enemies.
Conductivity Curses all targets in an area after a short delay, lowering their Lightning Resistance.

Mana Remnants Conjures surging lightning to restore your Mana. While active, Shocked enemies you kill have a chance to spawn a Mana Remnant, and Critically Hitting a Shocked target spawns a Mana Remnant every few seconds. Picking up a Mana Remnant grants you Mana which can Overflow maximum Mana.
Archmage While Active, causes your Non-Channelling Spells to cost additional mana and deal extra lightning damage, both based on your maximum mana.

To become a Stormweaver, one must take on the Sorceress as their starting class and complete their Ascension Trials. The other ascended option of the Witch would be the Chronomancer.
As the Sorceress is known for their wide array of AoE spells with varying elemental applications, it is recommended to take on Ascension Trials that allow the Sorceress to exploit elemental weaknesses!
