Path of Exile 2 is Free to Play on Official Release

Path of Exile 2 is completely free to play on both PC and consoles upon official release (separate from Early Access launching on Dec. 6), staying true to the model of its predecessor. The game offers all its core content without any mandatory purchases, allowing players to fully enjoy the campaign, endgame, and multiplayer features without spending a dime.

Grinding Gear Games, the developers, assures players that Path of Exile 2 will remain free-to-play and will never adopt a pay-to-win model.

Early Access Will Cost $30 at the Lowest

Though the official release of Path of Exile 2 will be free to play, Early Access will require a purchase, starting at $30 USD for the lowest tier. This gives players a chance to dive into the game ahead of its launch, along with exclusive perks tied to the Early Access packs.
