Find the Two Relics

Find the Sun Clan Relic in The Bone Pits

Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) - Sun Clan Relic

Begin the quest by traveling to The Bone Pits to defeat enemies in that area for a chance to loot the Sun Clan Relic.

Find the Kabala Clan Relic in Keth

Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) - Kabala Clan Relic

Travel to Keth and look for serpentine enemies. These enemies have a chance to drop the Kabala Clan Relic.

Find a Use for the Relic

Place the Relics in Valley of Titans

Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) - Valley of Titans

Once both Relics are gathered, travel to Valley of Titans and go to the Offering to Amrit area. From there, you will see a statue with a Medallion below it. Complete the quest by going up the stairs and interacting with the Medallion to place both Relics.

Medallion Provides a Permanent Buff

Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) - Medallion Buffs

When both Relics have been placed, you can choose either one of two permanent buffs:

  • 30% Increased Charm Charges Gained
  • 15% Mana Recovery from Flasks

Only one of these buffs can be active during your playthrough. You can go back anytime to switch between buffs as needed.

Completing the Ancient Vows quest grants these rewards. You can obtain them after completing a certain objective or by completing the entire quest.

How to Unlock Ancient Vows

Pick Up Relics in The Bone Pits and Keth

Ancient Vows Map View

The quest Ancient Vows automatically unlocks by picking up the Sun Clan Relic or Kabala Clan Relic from defeating enemies in The Bone Pits or Keth respectively.
