How to Unlock Tribal Medicine

Defeat the Great White One in Whakapanu Island

Great White One Boss Fight
You can immediately unlock the Tribal Medicine quest by picking up the Shark Fin quest item. This item can be obtained by defeating the Great White One boss in Whakapanu Island, Act 4.

Tribal Medicine Objectives

1 Defeat the Great White One
2 Find a Use for the Shark Fin

Defeat the Great White One

Shark Fin Dropped by Great White One

Sail to Whakapanu Island and look for the Shark Pit, a sandy open area in the island. Go near the edge of the pit near the water to trigger the Great White One boss fight. Upon defeating the boss, pick up the Shark Fin quest item and return to the ship.

How to Get and Use Shark Fin

Find a Use for the Shark Fin

Kaimana Located in Ngakanu

The next step is to find Kaimana and turn over the Shark Fin to complete the quest.

Kaimana's location changes depending on your progression of Act 4's main quest. Below are the three locations:

Karui Village, Ngakanu

Kaimana can be found at the Karui village in Ngakanu if you have not defeated The Excavation boss, Benedictus, First Herald.

Medicine Circle POI, Ngakanu

If you have defeated Benedictus, First Herald, Kaimana can be found at the Medicine Circle point of interest deep inside Ngakanu.

Karui Ship, Kingsmarch

Giving Shark Fin to Kaimana

If you finish The Search quest, Kaimana can be found on the Karui ship in the southern area of Kingsmarch.

Tribal Medicine Rewards

Quest Rewards

Rewards
・Level 11 Uncut Skill Gem, or
・ Level 11 Uncut Spirit Gem, or
・ Level 4 Uncut Support Gem

Completing the Tribal Medicine quest grants these rewards. You can obtain them after completing a certain objective or by completing the entire quest.
