How to Use the Reforging Bench

Put in Three of the Same Item

You need to have three of the same item, all of the same rarity. They can have different affixes, so long as the base names are the same, and they are of equal rarity.

Once you have all three items assembled in the three slots of the bench, hit Reforge to combine all three items into the same item but with rerolled additional effects.

Add Waystones to Obtain Higher Tier

Reforging Waystones results in a higher tier Waystone than the materials used.

Waystones are single-time consumable items used to enter different maps in the endgame mechanic Atlas of Worlds. They determine the levels of enemies and monsters within each map based on their individual tiers.

Used to Reroll Item Stats

Since you will receive exactly the same item rarity you put in (except for Waystones), the Reforging Bench works as an item reroller, which can be used to obtain more desirable traits in an item if you have three of the same kind that don't quite fit your build.

How to Unlock the Reforging Bench

Unlocked After Treasures of Utzaal Quest

Access to Reforging Benches is unlocked in Act 3, after completing the quest Treasures of Utzaal and dealing with the Molten Vault.

A Reforging Bench will appear close to the Salvage Bench in Clearfell Encampment.
