How to Beat Kosis, the Revelation

Tips on Beating Kosis, the Revelation

Avoid and Interrupt its Ice Beam Attack

Players should make sure to avoid Kosis' Ice Beam. This attack does high DoT, and getting caught in it slows and freezes players, likely killing them. Players can dodge the attack by getting out of its line of sight after it screams, curls up, and absorbs cold energy.

Deplete His Energy Shield During the Attack

Additionally, once the attack starts, players should interrupt it as soon as possible by depleting Kosis' energy shield. The beam creates Ice Orbs at its targeted area, and the longer Kosis fires the beam, the larger these orbs will be. This puts the player in danger of later attacks.

Avoid Ice Orbs and Teleporation Slam Attack

Players should avoid any nearby Ice Orbs. Kosis can create or leave behind Ice Orbs through his Ice Beam or teleportation ability. Getting near these orbs deals DoT to players and chills them, making them dangerous.

Kosis also has an attack wherein it teleports into and slams the Ice Orb nearest the player to release devastating waves of ice spikes from the ground. The larger the Ice Orb, the more range and power these ice spikes will have.

Teleportation Slam Can Detonate Multiple Ice Orbs

Additionally, the initial slam can also detonate multiple Ice Orbs, as long as they are within the slam's AoE. As such, players should not let these Ice Orbs accumulate by moving away from Kosis, triggering its teleportation attack, and effectively detonating Ice Orbs in a controlled and safe manner.

Stay Near Kosis, But Avoid Its Melee Attacks

Players should stick relatively near Kosis, as going away from it triggers some of its most devastating attacks, like its teleportation attack that deal increased damage. The attacks he executes while players are in close range are more easily managed and dodgeable.

However, players should be extra careful not to get hit by Kosis' melee attacks, as they inflict Corrupting Blood, dealing considerable physical DoT.
