The Lich gains a singular jewel socket which doubles the bonuses that the jewel provides. The node comes with the restriction that it can only accept basic jewels, so uniques are out of the question.
There's also the caveat of Increased mana cost if you don't have Energy Shield. This incentivizes stacking the Energy Shield stat, which can be done with uniques such as Ghostwrithe or Chaos Innoculation builds.
With minion builds being a consistently strong option for Witches, the Necromantic Conduit empowers the witch and her minions, transforming the attribute of physical attack damage and turning it into chaos.
Listed below are the Lich's ascendancy class skills that were mentioned and showcased during the Dawn of the Hunt livestream:

Alternatively, Eternal Life makes you practically immune to Poison effects as long as you have Energy Shields. Keep in mind that this also affects your healing and life regeneration so only use this if you have a decent amount of Energy Shields.
To become an Lich, one must take on the Witch as their starting class and complete their Ascension Trials. The other ascended options of the Witch would be the Blood Mage and the Infernalist.
Due to the Witch's squishy and less mobile nature, it is recommended to take on Ascension Trials with minimal environmental hazards to minimize the risk of dying!
