Doryani How to Beat

Doryani generally aims his attacks toward your direction at the start of his attacks. However, they all have a wind-up animation before being deployed. Use this small time frame to keep moving and dodge away from incoming attacks!

Focus on Dodging the Lightning Beams

During your fight against Doryani, a machine in the middle will emerge. After some time, it starts spinning and shooting out lightning beams, and Doryani still uses his various AoE attacks. Focus on dodging as any attacks as you can!

Stay Close and to Its Sides During Phase Two

The second, more challenging phase pits you against Doryani's Triumph, which uses powerful slam and laser attacks. Staying close and to its side gives you better options to Dodge Roll when it begins its attacks. Dodge toward its back to avoid frontal beams and slams, move to its front during the laser spin, and roll away during large AoE slams to stay safe.

Some of Doryani's Triumph's major attacks come from its larger front legs. These front legs are where its ice and fire beams and slams come out. Watch out for the subtle animations that indicate a specific attack is coming!

Doryani, Royal Thaumaturge Attack Patterns

Moves	Details & How to Dodge
Small Flamethrower	As Doryani moves around the area, he can wave his hand from side to side while shooting out flames. You can easily avoid it by keeping your distance or positioning yourself behind him.
Lightning Pellets	Doryani throws small red pellets on the ground before they grow and eventually explode, dealing lightning damage. It can be tricky to see Doryani throw these when other attacks are present, but you will be able to see the pellets grow before they explode.
Fire and Lightning Explosion	After a short period, Doryani explodes a deals damage within a wide area. Half of the area deals fire damage while the other half deals lightning damage. You can start running away from the blast radius when you see Doryani glowing orange and blue.
Fireball	Doryani channels flames from his hands and throws it in your direction. There is a windup animation before he throws the fireball, giving you enough time to dodge to the side.
Turret	Doryani activates a circular turret in the center of the arena, periodically shooting lightning beams at it rotates. You can easily dodge away once you see the thin red indicators that charge up before firing the beams.
Mini Solar Orbs	Doryani summons three mini Solar Orbs that deals fire damage and stays on the field for a set duration. The orbs themselves do not move, but make sure to avoid them while dodging other attacks.
Lightning Blast	Doryani gathers small red beads in front of him before shooting lightning forward, with the beam spreading outwards near the end. Once you see the red beads forming, move out of Doryani's line of fire.
Lightning Mine	You will sometimes see red mines spawn on the ground. Stepping on them will trigger constant lightning damage within a small area. You can wait for them to run out as you dodge other attacks.
Lightning Beam	Doryani directs a lightning beam towards you for a relatively extended duration. Keep moving to avoid getting caught by the lightning.

Doryani's Triumph Attack Patterns

Moves	Details & How to Dodge
Body Slam	Doryani takes a portion of his machine and slams it into the ground, dealing physical damage in a wide area. Once you see the giant red portion of the machine start to spin, move away from the boss.
Hot and Cold Explosion	After two consecutive ground slams from the claw, Doryani will channel energy and trigger an explosion. Half of the attack deals fire damage while the other deals cold damage. You will see the machine's claws covered in ice and fire before the attack, so move away when you see that.
Ice and Fire Beams	Each machine claw will fire a beam of ice and fire while moving sideways. Time your dodge to go through the beams when they reach you.
Laser Barrage	Several laser beams come out from the machine as it quickly spins around. You can dodge through the lasers once they reach you.
Ice Slam and Fire Blast	Doryani imbues one machine arm with ice before it slams down on the ground then the other claw emits a blast that deals fire damage. You will see each claw wind up before they release an attack, so watch out when the claws change color.
Laser Sweep	Below 50% HP, the machine will fire a red beam and sweep sideways. You can dodge through the beam once it is near you.
Shockwave Combo	Below 50% HP, the machine suddenly disassembles and releases a quick lightning shockwave. After that, the machine reforms above you and follows your position, slamming down after a short pause. Watch out for the wind animations on the machine, as this indicates when it will slam down.
Multidirection Beam	Below 50% HP, the machine uses an ice beam before transitioning to lightning. Its claw closes and the beam goes sideways. When the ice attack is ongoing, you can position yourself behind the boss to completely avoid the following attack. However, you can dodge through both beam attacks.
Concentrated Laser Turret	A separate laser turret forms above the machine. This turret periodically charges up and fires a concentrated laser towards you. You will see an indicator for where the attack will land, so dodge away when you see it.
Lightning Barrier	The machine charges up and fills the whole arena with lightning except for the space close to it. You must stay within melee range of the boss to avoid taking damage.
