1. Bind Spectre Minions
Bind Spectre is a wildly flexible Occult skill that lets you capture the soul of a slain monster and reanimate it as your loyal minion.
Its true power lies in its adaptability, summoning some of the strongest allies in the game, like the fearsome Vaal Guard, Faridun Impaler, Frost Wraith, or Priest of the Chalice.
2. Skeletal Brute
These towering Skeletal Brutes are built for protection, packing heavy punches and capable of stunning enemies that are primed.
They’re excellent for locking down threats and soaking hits. Just keep in mind, their large models can sometimes fumble around narrow entrances, slowing their pathing in tight spaces.
3. Skeletal Cleric
A couple of Skeletal Clerics can really take the pressure off your minion horde, providing solid healing support. Even better, they can revive fallen skeletons mid-fight, keeping your army in the game longer.
Just keep in mind that they won't be contributing any damage themselves.
4. Skeletal Frost Mage
Skeletal Frost Mages specialize in freezing enemies with their ice attacks, providing solid crowd control. Their Ice Bomb skill allows you to trigger a high-damage AoE on command, which not only deals significant damage but also inflicts Chill, slowing down all enemies in the blast radius.
However, like any mage, they’re a bit squishy.
5. Skeletal Reaver
Skeletal Reavers are relentlessly aggressive, capable of entering a Rage on command to boost their damage output. While they sacrifice some health over time, the trade-off is worth it — they become a berserk force, dishing out increased damage as they tear through enemies.
6. Skeletal Arsonist
Skeletal Arsonists add some serious firepower to your minion army with their Explosive Demise skill, dealing massive damage by detonating minions with low health. They’re perfect for turning your fallen minions into walking bombs.
7. Skeletal Sniper
Skeletal Snipers are deadly and easy on your Spirit budget. Their piercing arrows tear through enemies, and on command, you can have them use Gas Cloud, which shrouds the battlefield with flammable poison clouds for solid DoT damage, then ignite them for fiery explosions.
8. Skeletal Storm Mage
Skeletal Storm Mages are similar to their Frost cousins bu their Death Storm skill can only call down lightning AoEs on dead skeletons. It’s powerful but situational, needing some fallen allies to really shine. Like most mages, they’re also pretty squishy
9. Skeletal Warrior
Skeletal Warriors are your bread-and-bone melee bruisers, offering reliable frontline support with their cleaving strikes. They’re great for soaking hits and keeping enemies busy — but they do get outclassed later by stronger options like Skeletal Bruisers and Reavers.
10. Zombies
Zombies from Raise Zombie are tough, hard-hitting minions that don’t cost Spirit, making them a great budget option. The downside? You’ll need corpses to summon them, and they only last a few seconds, which can be tricky during boss fights without adds.
