Path of Exile 2 - Terracota Sentinels Location

The Terracota Sentinels, Hadi of the Flaming River and Rafiq of the Frozen Spring, are a boss duo encountered at the end of the second floor in the Trial of the Sekhemas. You must use a Djinn Barya of at least Level 45 to access this floor.

Defeat Them Both at the Same Time

Defeating Terracotta Sentinels
When one of the Terracotta Sentinels is defeated, the other goes back to full health. To avoid this, try to defeat both of the Terracotta Sentinels at the same time or within seconds upon defeating one of them.

Defeat Hadi of the Flaming River First

If you can't defeat both of them at the same time, it’s recommended to defeat Hadi first. Defeating one of the Terracotta Sentinels triggers arena hazards based on the defeated sentinel's element, and Hadi's mechanics are easier to deal with.

Defeating Rafiq causes chilling projectiles to fire from the arena's edges and leaves Chilling Ground at the center. The Chilled effect significantly slows you down, making you much more vulnerable to Hadi's follow-up attacks.

Watch Out for AoE Slams

Terracotta Sentinels AoE Slams
Both Terracotta Sentinels have relatively simple attacks to keep in mind. One of Rafiq of the Frozen Spring's primary attacks starts with it raising its weapon overhead before slamming it down to the ground, dealing cold damage within a set radius. Meanwhile, Hadi of the Flaming River slams the ground with its fists or foot, and a wave of fire shoots outwards.

Moves	Details & How to Dodge
Melee Swing	When close by, Hadi will its molten hot fist forward. Keep your distance or position yourself behind Hadi to counterattack.
Ground Slam	Hadi slams the ground, sending a wave forward. Dodge to the side when you see Hadi's arms raised up.
Ground Slam Variant	Hadi stomps the ground, sending three waves forward. Position yourself between the waves to avoid taking damage.

Rafiq of the Frozen Spring Attack Patterns

Moves	Details & How to Dodge
Melee Swing	When close by, Rafiq will swing its weapon forward. Keep your distance or position yourself behind Rafiq to counterattack.
Ground Slam	Rafiq slams the ground with its weapon, dealing cold damage within a certain range. Dodge away or behind Rafiq to avoid taking damage.
Ice Barrage	Rafiq summons numerous marks on the ground which erupt with spikes after a while. Move between the marks while dodging other attacks to avoid taking damage.
