Talk to Hilda in The Glade

Unlock Howling Winds by talking to Hilda in The Glade during the Recruit the Vaal Interlude Quest.

Find the Howling Caves

Howling Caves Entrance
Once you start the Recruit the Vaal Interlude Quest, talk to Hilda within The Glade. As you progress through the main quest, you will pass by an area called the Glacial Tarn.

You will find the entrance to the Howling Caves within Glacial Tarn. It is recommended to stay close to the outer edges of the area to easily find the entrance.

Find and Defeat the Yeti

The Abominable Yeti Boss Fight

Navigate through the narrow tunnels of the Howling Caves until you find a tunnel leading straight to The Abominable Yeti boss area.

This boss has slow, but powerful physical and cold-based attacks, so be careful!.

Give the Ice Tusks to Hilda

The Abominable Yeti Icy Tusks

Upon defeating the Yeti, it will drop the Icy Tusks quest item. Return to The Glade and give this item to Hilda. This will conclude the Howlig Winds quest.
