Obtain the Torn Map Pieces

All 4 Torn Map Pieces can be found within the first area of their respective islands. Whakapanu Isaland, Shrike Island, Isle of Kin, and the Kedge Bay areas each has one Torn Map Piece to collect. They are usually located nearby checkpoints, so keep an eye out for them!

Give the Torn Map Pieces to Makoru

Give the Torn Map Pieces to Makoru by interacting with her and selecting the Map Pieces you currently have.

Sail to Plunder's Point

Plunder
After submitting all Map Pieces to Makoru, sail to Plunder's Point. Once there, summon and talk to Dannig.

Set Explosives Throughout the Area

Similar to the Expedition endgame mechanic, you must strategically place explosives to cover certain spots that drop loot once you blow them up.

Defeating Enemies in Plunder
Aside from loot, enemy packs will also spawn, so make sure to come prepared! Pick up the various loot that drops as you clear all enemies in the area.

How to Unlock Forgotten Bounty

Pick Up a Torn Map Piece

You can unlock the Forgotten Bounty quest by picking up a Torn Map Piece for the first time during Act 4.

Forgotten Bounty Rewards

Quest Rewards

・Expedition Endgame Mechanic

Completing the Forgotten Bounty quest grants a guaranteed Expedition mechanic, similar to endgame logbooks.

The value of loot you can get scales with the difficulty and amount of chests, markers, and remnants you destroy upon detonating the explosives.
