 Imploding Impacts now also grants "Fully Broken Armour you inflict increases all Damage Taken from Hits instead". The Ancestral Warhorn minion summoned by Warbringer's Answered Call notable now more consistently hits close-up enemies with the second part of its slam attack. |
The Warbringer received some quality of life changes and minor buffs to his kit to help the ascendancy keep its identity intact.

Listed above are some of the best ascendancy skills for the Warbringer. First is Answered Call. With the recent buffs to Minions and totems, Answered Call opens up a variety of powerful builds that focus on summoning an army of Ancestral Spirits.
Next is Wooden Wall, which greatly enhances the survivability of a Warbringer utilizing totems by making them act as an extra layer of defense.
Finally, there is Anvil's Weight. This skill greatly buffs and enables Armor Break builds utilizing the Armour Explosion support gem. With it, chain explosions are likelier to happen, making mobbing easier.

Modifies Numerous Warrior Specialties and Mechanics
Unlike the Titan, the Warbringer ascendancy makes the Warrior's playstyle lean towards being a semi-summoner and self-enhancer, capitalizing on buffing and modifying a variety of the Warrior's specialties, including War Cries, Totems, Shields, and Ancestral Spirits.
Buffs Totems and Adds Spirit Minions
With the Answered Call and Wooden Wall skills, Totems become more useful tools for survival and combat support, able to tank damage and act as a catalyst to summon ancestral spirit minions that provide offensive support and buffs.
Improves and Modifies War Cries
Meanwhile, skills like Warcaller's Bellow and Greatwolf's Howl improve the capabilities of all War Cry skills by allowing enemy corpse detonation, making War Cries a viable offensive skill, and removing War Cry cooldowns to use them more often.
Enhances Armor Breaking
The Warbringer can also make armor break more useful with skills like Anvil's Weight, making armor breaking easier to get buffs from passives like Pile On. Skills like Imploding Impacts also increase damage, albeit negligible, when breaking armor below zero.
Increases Blocking Utlization and Survivability
Finally, the Warbringer also shines in modifying and improving shield blocking with Turtle Charm, allowing players to block all attacks except DoTs and better survive end-game content. The ascendancy also helps in near-death situations with the Encase in Jade skill.
