・Available as drops from stronger enemies or crafted from a Magic item ・Can have up to 6 modifiers ・Item name will be in a gold text box |
 Unique Items |
・Available as loot from enemies ・Has modifiers unique to the item ・Item icon is different from previous rarities ・Item name will be in an orange text box |
Path of Exile 2 features four rarities for the items in the game: Normal, Magic, Rare, and Unique. While players can find or craft most of the items, Unique items can only be found with specific methods such as successfully defeating a boss.
Players can use an Orb of Transmutation to upgrade a Normal item to a Magic item while a Regal Orb can be used upgrade a Magic item to a Rare item.
On the other hand, players that have extra or unwanted gear can disenchant them at the Magic Item vendor. This allows you to gather currency items such as Orbs of Transmutation or Regal Orbs to use on other items.
