Patch 0.2.0e Improves Quality-of-Life and Balance Changes

Patch 0.2.0e comes with QoL improvements that include Act 3 map changes and various bug fixes. It also brings some class balance changes, rework for minion timers, boss encounters, Delirium changes, as well as crafting updates.

Upcoming Changes to Patch 0.2.0

Grinding Gear Games has shared details about upcoming improvements planned for Path of Exile 2’s Patch 0.2.0. These changes are based heavily on community feedback and are aimed at improving core gameplay, skill balance, area design, and quality of life features. Here’s a breakdown of all the announced updates currently in development:

Huntress Skill Improvements

Cull the Weak is a new upcoming skill that allows you to instantly kill monsters within Culling Range and generate a Frenzy Charge.

Attack Speed buffs to Spear throw Skills and enhancements to the Parry mechanic are also planned to give the Spear and Buckler playstyle more flexibility and power in combat.

Minion Buffs for Early Game

Recent changes unintentionally nerfed minion builds during the early game, reducing their survivability and damage. Upcoming adjustments will increase minion life and damage at lower levels while keeping the intendend Damage and Life at higher gem levels.

Changes to Large Zone Layouts

GGG is investigating on how to improve areas that to feel too large. They're working on improving some of the areas where players are spending too much time and maybe changing the sizes of those areas. Additional checkpoints may also be coming to other areas

Monster Life, Player Damage, and Extra Content or also things the developers are considering to adjust to improve the feeling of clearing large areas.

Crash and Disconnection Fixes

Additional client and server-side fixes are on the way to address ongoing crash and disconnection issues. These will roll out across upcoming hotfixes and patches.

More Quality of Life Features

There are other features that are also in the works. Bookmarking locations in the Atlas map, additional Stash Tab Affinities, and a Spectre and Tamed Beasts rebind feature.
