Deadly Map Bosses are powerful and more rewarding bosses tied to special maps in the Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) Atlas end game. Learn more about Deadly Map Bosses, including a list of all the Deadly Map Bosses and how to unlock their maps here.
Deadly Map Bosses are unique and powerful encounters found in the Atlas endgame. As of Patch 0.3.0, they are stronger versions of the Act 4 and Interlude bosses and now feature their own drop pools, including Unique Items and Lineage Support gems.

Maps containing Deadly Map Bosses have unique layouts and are marked with a distinct Deadly Map Boss icon. These maps are typically not connected to the normal map nodes and must be unlocked by completing objectives on nearby maps.
Deadly Map Bosses can only be opened with Tier 6 Waystones or higher.
