The Demon Form Infernalist Witch build utilizes the Demon Form ascendancy skill while using Flameblast and Solar Orb to obliterate enemies. The build uses Demonflame to stack Spell Damage but requires plenty of Life and Life regeneration per second to mitigate Demon Form's health drain.

With excellent mob and boss clearing and high mobility, this endgame-ready build shines for Infernalists who prefer personal power over minions.

Specific Gear

For gear, the key piece for this build is the Ghostwrithe Tattered Robe, a unique chestpiece that converts 50% of your maximum Life into Energy Shield. The best way to acquire this unique gear is through trading.

Ghostwrithe Tattered Robe Effects and How to Get

General Gear

Next, prioritize Life Regen Per Second to maintain your sustainability in Demon Form. Aim for enough regeneration to completely offset the health drain from Demonflame.

Resistances are essential in the endgame, so don’t leave them out. On top of that, Intelligence and Mana are definitely worth picking up to continuously cast spells without interruption. For Gloves, aim for Gain Life Per Enemy Killed to keep your sustain going strong.

Weapons aren't necessary in this build since you'll be in Demon Form for most of your fights, but a Shield can be handy if you're pushed out of Demon Form. Try to avoid Maximum Life as much as you can, as it doesn't help the build.

Socketables

For Charms and Runes, focus on filling any missing resistances. If resistances are maxed, consider Charms that increase the rarity of items found.

The Infernalist Build revolves around Demon Form, where you continuously stack Demonflame for increased Spell Damage while managing Life and Energy Shield through high Life Regeneration per second and Grim Feast. The Demon Form requires Second Wind and Ingenuity gems to quicken its cooldown and make sure you're in Demon Form often.

Additionally, the build utilizes Infernal Hound for extra tankiness, as its passive diverts damage to it, allowing you to survive longer. Grim Feast provides Energy Shield regen from killed enemies.

Solar Orb and Flammability are used as a support for Flameblast. The idea is to place Solar Orb and then use Flame Blast on it to trigger explosions. Fire Exposure and Inspiration are linked to Solar Orb to boost to lower enemies' fire resistance and making it less costly to use.

Meanwhile, Ice Nova is used as a panic button to clear mobs when surrounded by knocking enemies back.

Path of Exile 2 - Demon Form Infernalist Passive Tree
The passive skill path for this build focuses on boosting Energy Shield, the effects of your Fire Exposure, and Spell Damage. Start by taking Pure Energy to enhance your Energy Shield, then quickly grab Raw Destruction. Move up to the top to boost Fire Exposure with Overexposure, and boost your fire spell damage with Volcanic Skin and Cremation.

Head back towards the tree’s base to further enhance your Energy Shield with Insightfulness, then increase damage with Breath of Fire and Exploit the Flames. Pick up Essence Infusion, then focus on life regeneration by grabbing Devoted Protector, Resilient Soul, and Full Recovery. Boost AOE size and casting speed with Spiral into Mania.

Finally, rush for All Natural and Breaking Point for a massive boost to elemental damage. Finish the build with Calibration and Heavy Buffer for additional Energy Shield, and Reverberation to expand AOE size.

Demon Form Infernalist Playstyle and Skill Rotation

Skill Rotation

The Demon Form Infernalist Build revolves around staying in Demon Form as much as possible to maximize Demonflame stacks while casting Solar Orb and Flameblast for high spell damage. The optimal rotation is as follows:

  1. While in Demon Form, place Solar Orb near enemies.
  2. Channel Flameblast on the Solar Orb.
  3. If enemies are tougher, cast Flammability to further reduce their fire resistances, making them more vulnerable to your attacks.
  4. When surrounded by enemies, use Ice Nova to knock them back, creating space to escape and continue your onslaught.

Grim Feast, Arctic Armor, Cannibalism, Herbalism and Clarity add up to 100 spirit.

I see you using 3 support gems for aura skills, but no extra spirit in armor or anything. Even in act three you tap out at 100 spirit. How you able to use all three supports?
