The Witch specializes in Occult magic and necromancy, allowing you to build an army, use bone spells, and spread debuffs to attack enemies from range or start a plague.

The Witch is a primary user of the Scepter, which is the primary weapon used for summoning. Listed below are the skills shown in the Witch Gameplay walkthrough:

1. Unearth
2. Contagion
3. Pain Offering
4. Profane Ritual
5. Bone Storm

Unearth

Create a wave of bone spikes to impale enemies in front. If the bone spikes hit an enemy corpse it creates a Bone Construct which adds to your army of undead summons.

Bone Constructs made from Unearth have a small health pool and a limited lifespan, but can easily be replaced by casting another Unearth skill on other corpses.

Contagion

Contagion is a debuff that can be applied to enemies, once the enemy with contagion dies it spreads to nearby enemies. The damage increases each time Contagion is spread, so it's best to keep the debuff going.

If you summon an enemy that died with Contagion, their summoned corpse will also be infected. Each time these summons hit an enemy they are instantly infected with Contagion.

Pain Offering

Impale one of your skeletons to buff your other minions, making them faster and increasing their damage.

Profane Ritual

Perform a ritual that consumes a corpse to create a Power Charge, which can power up your spells, including your summons. If a Power Charge is used to summon, it will then become a super variant of that summon.

Bone Storm

Call forth bone shards and throw them at your enemy. If used when Power Charged, the bone shards explode upon hit, dealing AoE damage.

Witch Ascendancies

The Witch will have two available Ascendancy classes for the Early Access, with another Ascendancy coming soon. Below is a list of the confirmed ascendancy classes for Witch:

Infernalist

Infernalists can summon a hellhound that sets enemies on fire and absorbs a percentage of the damage they take. They can also turn her mana into an infernal flame that can ignite enemies, however, this infernal flame can overflow as they cast more skills, ultimately damaging them.

Infernalists can also morph into a Demon. While in Demon form they increase their damage and gain faster cast speed but take increased damage.

Infernalist Ascendancy Overview and Skills

Blood Mage

Blood Mages can increase their survivability by an energy shield based on their maximum life, and leech life off of enemies from her spell damage. In addition, they can increase their critical damage based on their maximum life.

In exchange for the boosts they receive, Blood Mages offer a percentage of their health and mana as a resource for all their skills. To mitigate this negative effect, all enemies killed will drop life remnants, allowing them to regain lost health.
