Game Keeps Crashing

A number of players have reported that their game keeps crashing right after the Dawn of the Hunt update was launched.

The developers have already acknowledged this issue and are currently working on a fix. In the meantime, players are advised to manually edit the game config file to force it to use the DirectX12 renderer if their game is set to use Vulkan renderer by default.

Unknown Object Type Serialized by Server

The Dawn of the Hunt update also introduced a bug that causes a pop-up error saying “Unknown object type serialized by server” when loading into a new zone.

Although a hotfix was released, the issue still persists for some players. If you're still encountering the error, try switching to a different server, creating a new instance of the zone by holding Ctrl before clicking on it, or restarting the game entirely.

Failed to Join Instance Error

The “Failed to Join Instance” error appears in the chat menu when a Town Portal fails to transport you to your intended location.

There isn't a fix for this error yet but you can stick to using Waypoints for now to get to places.

Missing Titan's Treasure Bug

Players are reporting a bug in Act 2 where Titan's Treasure doesn't show up in Titan's Grotto. The key item can't be found even after completing the Titan fight and thouroughly exploring the area.

Unfortunately, there isn't a fix for this bug yet.

Missing Tinker's Tool Bug

Path of Exile 2 - Missing Tinker

Just like with the missing Titan Treasure, the Tinkerer's Tool has also been bugging. This key item should be found in Mawdun Quarry after clearing all enemies in the area but it remains to be found for some players.

This bug doesn't have a fix yet.

Guild Donation Bug

Path of Exile 2 - Guild Donation Bug

The Guild Donation bug is a bug in Path of Exile 2 that prevents players from successfully purchasing Guild Stash Tabs using donated points. Many players have reported that their transactions don’t appear in the Guild Transactions tab even after donating points and receiving confirmation that their transaction went through.

Unfortunately, there isn't a fix for this yet. Players are advised to avoid making guild-related purchases until the problem is addressed.
