Best Defensive Stat

Evasion and Energy Shield

The best defensive stat is arguably both Evasion and Energy Shield. Evasion allows you to avoid enemy attacks and spells that are not AoE. Energy Shield is the the one taking damage in place of your Life until it gets depleted. However, damage from Bleed and Poison directly affects your Life.

It's still great to have a bit of Armor, but it's not a priority since it only reduces Physical Damage, and there are a lot of enemies that deals elemental damage.
