Cross-Progression is Allowed

Path of Exile 2 - Cross Progression Availability
You will be able to continue your progression seamlessly on any platform by simply logging into your account. This means your characters, items, and progress will carry over, allowing you to switch between PC, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 without losing any your progression.

Keep in mind that you do not need to purchase Early Access on separate consoles for cross-progression. However, in-game purchases made on PlayStation 5 will not be available on PC and Xbox, the same goes for the other way around, purchases in PC and Xbox will not be available on PlayStation 5.

Merging Accounts and Sub-Accounts

You can Merge Accounts to Create Sub-Accounts

Path of Exile 2 - Sub Accounts and Merging
If you have created accounts on both console and PC, you will be able to merge them, allowing you to access your characters across any of your platforms. Once your accounts are merged, a dropdown menu will appear in the upper right corner of the character selection screen, where you can easily choose which sub-account you want to use.

This feature makes it convenient to switch between platforms while keeping all your progress intact, ensuring a seamless experience no matter where you play.

What Are Sub-Accounts?

Each sub-account will have its own separate list of characters, depending on which account was used when creating them. You can easily access and play any of your characters from either sub-account by simply selecting which one you want to use.

This gives you the flexibility to switch between platforms while keeping your characters accessible, ensuring you can enjoy your progression no matter where you are playing.

Microtransactions on Different Sub-Accounts

You can use microtransactions across platforms, but they remain tied to separate sub-accounts. You can choose which sub-account to use on any platform, and its microtransactions will be available. Do note that characters cannot be transferred between sub-accounts, but you can contact support to move microtransactions to one account, as a one-time action.

It is recommended to do this only if you no longer plan to use the moved microtransactions on the original sub-account. Additionally, purchases made on PlayStation are not usable on other platforms, and vice versa. These items will appear as unavailable in your stash.
