Path of Exile 2 Official Trading Website

The in-game market panel is a new addition to the game that functions the same way as the official trading website. This allows you to trade without having to open a browser to use the official trading website.

A new in-game trading system introduces Ange, the Merchant, an NPC that allows you to buy and sell items without requiring direct interaction between players.
Go to you Hideout and give Ange items and set a price. From there, other players can see what you have for sale, teleport to your hideout, and purchase your item with in-game currency and gold.

The in-game Market Panel allows you to search for items listed by other players to trade. Use the Instant Buyout Only filter from the drop down button to purchase items.
Note that items that are listed for In Person Trade require direct player-to-player trading and are stored in the other player's Premium Stash Tabs.

Speak with Ange, the Merchant and use the Manage Shop dialogue option to open your Merchant Tabs. From there, you can list items for sale with your desired price. Other players can buy your items from Ange and the Currency they traded for will appear in your Earnings Tab.
Note that this requires you purchase at least one Merchant Tab from the Microtransaction Store. However, if you've purchased Premium Stash Tabs before, you may also convert those to Merchant Tabs.
| How to Trade In Person | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Invite a Player to a Party |
| 2 | Request a Player Trade |
| 3 | Place an Item for Trade |
| 4 | Accept the Trade |
If you want to trade with a specific person or friend, it would be best to add them as a friend! After adding a friend, invite them to a party so that you can teleport to their location and request a trade.
You'll need to be in close proximity with one another so it's necessary to have both the buyer and the seller on a single location.

On the official trading site, if you press the Direct Whisper button next to the player's IGN who is Online or AFK, it will send a chat in-game containing a link to the player's IGN and the item you want to buy. This allows you to right click the player's name and invite them to your party to initiate trading.
To trade with a player, walk up to their character and request a trade. If they accept, the trading hud will open for both players!
After the trade request has been accepted, you may now place any item you wish to trade to the other party. As a security measure for trading, Path of Exile 2 included a system where you have to hover over an item the other player put up for trade. This protects newer players from being scammed out of their precious items!
When two of the players are happy with the trades they put up, both should simply press the "Accept" button to resolve the trade. This should successfully send over the item to both inventories!
| How to Trade on Path of Exile 2 Official Website | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Search for Listed Items |
| 2 | Filter Your Searches |
| 3 | Trade in Bulk |

On the official Path of Exile 2 website trading page, you can easily search for items that are listed for trade. Whether you're looking for something specific or browsing options, the search feature lets you filter results to find exactly what you need.
You can view the in-game name of whoever's selling the item you're interested in, and can see their status whether they're online, AFK, or offline. Players who are online or AFK can be sent a direct whisper from the site and it will reflect immediately on the chatbox in-game.
| # | Filters |
|---|---|
| 1 | ![]() Type Filters Type Filters are useful to find items of a certain category, rarity, or item level. You may also search for items within a certain item level or rarity by setting the minimum and maximum values for each in the filter. |
| 2 | ![]() Equipment Filters Equipment Filters are useful to look for items with specific offensive stats like damage or defensive stats like armor, evasion, and energy shield. You can set the minimum and maximum values for each of the stats when using the filter. |
| 3 | ![]() Requirement Filters The Requirement filter allows you to look for items within a specified range of level or stat requirement. You can use this to look for items you can use for your character. |
| 4 | ![]() Stat Filters Stat Filters can be used to look for items with a specific modifier to it. This is useful for when you want to look for items with specific resistances or damage bonuses. |
| 5 | Waystone Filters This filter allows you to set the waystone tier and waystone drop chance of the waystones you're looking for. |
| 6 | ![]() Miscellaneous This filters other, less-common settings like how many gem sockets, the stack size, if it's already identified, if it's corrupted, and more! |
| 7 | ![]() Trade Filters You can search for the seller's account name here, how long the item has been listed, and other sale related options. |
You can use a variety of filters to narrow down your search and find the exact item you're looking for. Filter by categories like rarity, item level, and equipment type, or set specific requirements to fine-tune your results.
Weighted Sum is an option in the stat filter you can use where you can set values on the weight of the modifiers to add values to them. If we put 1 weight on Fire Resistance, and the item has 10% Fire Resistance, then that makes it have 10 points in weight.
For example, we'll add X to Maximum Mana with a weight of 1, and X% to All Elemental Resistances with a weight of 10, and set the maximum weighted sum to 100. Having these values will result in these possibilities:
| Item | Modifiers |
|---|---|
| Item A | • 100 to Maximum Mana • 0% to All Elemental Res |
| Item B | • 0 to Maximum Mana • 10% to All Elemental Res |
| Item C | • >1 to Maximum Mana • <10% to All Elemental Res |
With this example in Item C, if you get Maximum Mana modifier of 30, you can only get around 7% elemental resistance to get the total weighted sum of 100.

If you're looking to trade multiple items at once, the Bulk Item Exchange tab allows you to list and trade items in bulk. You can easily organize and manage large trades, making it more convenient to exchange multiple goods at once.
| How to Sell Items | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Make Sure You Have Premium Stash Tabs |
| 2 | Set the Premium Stash Tab to Public |
| 3 | Place Items on the Stash and Set Prices |
| 4 | Check the Trading Site if Your Item is Live |

Premium Stash Tabs are necessary if you want to sell items on the trading website. These can be bought from the in-game shop. Since you start with four stash tabs, you can choose to upgrade one to a Premium Stash Tab, which is cheaper than buying a new Premium Stash Tab.
Shop Bundles and Microtransactions
You can wait for discounted prices on Stash Tabs so you can buy more tabs! These sales usually go live for 4 days every 3 weeks.
Stash Tab Sale Schedule and Prices

Go to your stash and right-click on your Premium Stash Tab, then check Public. You can then choose whether each item is individually priced, set negotiable prices on all items, or set exact prices on all items.

Place the item you wish to sell in your now-public stash tab. RIght click on the item to set a price. You can choose to set an Exact Price, a Negotiable Price, or select Do Not Index. Choosing Do Not Index will not list the item on the trading site.
Afterwards, select the currency you'd like to receive and specify the amount. Options range from Exalted Orbs to Vaal Orbs, but Exalted Orbs are typically preferred as they are the standard currency within the community.

After setting everything, you can go to the official trading website and search for your item. If all steps were done correctly, you should see your item listed!
When you get relatively rare equipment you cannot use yourself, try to link the item you got in the Trading Channel to get some trade opportunities with other players instead of selling or dismantling them.
Not only will this help another player get stronger, but you may also receive bundles of useful Gems, Currency Items, or an equipment piece of the same value accessible for your class!
Exalted Orbs and Divine Orbs are the standard currency used for trading on the Path of Exile 2 Trading Site. You can use these orbs to buy listed items and sell your items in exchange for the orbs. Although there are other options to use for currency, these two are ones players use most.
