Latest Liquid Emotion Updates
0.3.0 Patch Notes
Distilled Emotions are now called Liquid Emotions, and are now separated into tiers. The three lowest tiers are called Diluted Liquid Emotions, while the 3 highest tiers are called Concentrated Liquid Emotions. The Diluted and Concentrated Liquid Emotions also have new 2D art.

How to Get Liquid Emotions
Dropped by Enemies in Delirium
Distilled Emotions are obtained as drop rewards for defeating enemies found in the Delirium endgame mechanic.
Use Currency Exchange
Liquid Emotions can also be obtained by visiting the Currency Exchange NPC in every Act. Currency Exchange becomes available in Cruel Difficulty which is unlocked after completing Act 3 on Normal difficulty.
How to Use Liquid Emotions
Instill an Amulet with a Notable Passive
Right click on a Liquid Emotion to open the Instill window. Select three Liquid Emotions then place the amulet you wish to use on the top slot and click on Instill.
This is great for builds that require a Notable that is out of the way from the rest of your Skill Tree. You can overwrite the Notable instilled on an Amulet by repeating the process.
Check Liquid Emotion Combinations
You can check which Liquid Emotion combinations you need for a particular Notable by locating it in the Passive Skill Tree then holding Alt while you hover over it. This feature becomes available after picking up your first Liquid Emotion.
Add Liquid Emotions on Maps
The process for adding Distilled Emotions to maps is the same as instilling Notables onto Amulets. Right click on a Liquid Emotion, select the emotions you are going to use, then select a Waystone instead of an amulet in the top slot.
The modifiers that will be added to your map will appear in a box at the bottom of the Instill window before going through with the process.

Reforge Liquid Emotions
You can upgrade your Liquid Emotions to a higher tier by reforging three identical emotions at the Reforging Bench. Higher tier Liquid Emotions will have more potent modifiers when used on a Waystone.

Currency Items for Instilling Amulets
Liquid Emotions are humanity's most deplorable emotions made manifest by the Delirium's influence. Practically, they are Currency Items you use to instill Amulets with Notable Passives or Waystones with Modifiers.
