Grinding Gear Games has announced pre-download details for Path of Exile 2 ahead of its highly anticipated Early Access launch.

To help players get into the action as soon as the servers go live, the standalone PC client will be available for pre-download starting Thursday, December 5th, at 5 PM PST.

Available to Preload on Xbox

Preloading for Path of Exile 2 is already available, so Xbox players can get ready for launch now. There will likely be updates on launch.

Available Platforms and Consoles Guide

Available to Preload on PlayStation 24 Hours Before Early Access

Preload for PlayStation players with a Founder's Pack will be available 24 hours before Early Access starts, on December 5th at 11 AM PST.

Preload From the PC

1 Download the Client – Starting Dec 5th, 5 PM PST (or Dec 6th, 9:00 AM GMT+8), visit the Path of Exile 2 website) to download the standalone client or torrent file. You may be required to registered an account and to login.
2 Complete the download and let the client handle any remaining patch updates closer to launch.
3 Early Access opens Dec 6th, 11 AM PST (or Dec 7th, 3:00 AM GMT+8). Use the website's countdown timer to stay on track.

Preload From Xbox

1 Open the Xbox Store and search for Path of Exile 2 in the search bar.
2 Select Pre-Order, then click Buy at the order summary to successfully pre-order the game.
3 Go to your Library and select Path of Exile 2. Click the Pre-Install button to begin preloading.

Preload From Playstation

1 Open the PlayStation Store and search for Path of Exile 2.
2 If you have a Founder's Pack, select Pre-Order, then Proceed to Checkout. Confirm Pre-Order to successfully pre-order the game.
3 The game should start downloading shortly after confirming your purchase. Founder's Pack owners can preload 24 hours before Early Access begins.
