Customize Temple Layout

Changing the Temple Layout

Every time you activate 6 Ancient Beacons, you are given 6 random rooms to place into the Temple Console. This allows you to customize the Temple's layout for you to go through. Use the paths to connect the rooms however you can.

Placing certain rooms next to each other can grant additional effects. Stacking more effects for you run will grant you better rewards upon completing it.

Run Temples

Completing Temple Rooms
You can run the Temple you have created and collect as much loot and EXP as you can. The run ends once you go through all the rooms or when your character dies.

After your run, teleport back to the Vaal Ruins and go back to the Temple Console. You must close the temple, which causes your layout to destabilize, and will remove some rooms.

Ancient Beacon

As you progress through the new league, you will encounter Vaal Beacons that affect nearby enemies strangely. Defeat nearby enemies to activate the beacon. Upon activating all 6 beacons, you gain access to the Vaal Ruins.

Unlock More Crafting Options

Replacing a Limb

As you expand your created Temple, you will encounter various enemies, loot, and mechanics. More importantly, you can gain access to more crafting options. For example, the leveled up Locus of Corruption room gives you access to a corruption altar that can further modify a corrupted item.

There is also a specific room called the Surgeon's Symphony. Here, you can interact with the Transcension Device to replace one of your limbs. Each limb will provide its own bonus effect when replaced, so choose carefully! Upon dying, your limbs will reset and the bonus effects will disappear.

New Crafting Currency

Vaal Infuser

There are several more crafting methods within the Temple. Fortunately, you do not need to bring the item you want modified during your runs. Instead, you can take the crafting method and turn it into a currency. You can apply this to an item later on or sell it on the market.

Fate of the Vaal Release Date

Released on December 12, 2025

The Fate of the Vaal league released on December 12, 2025 together with the Last of the Druids update. It is important to note that the new league will require you to create a new character and reset your economy.
