Where Water Flows

The Matlan Waterways is an area that can be accessed from Infested Barrens. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.

This area is a series of canals separated by water. You may interact with Canal Levers to drain the water, making the canals passable. Watch out for enemies such as River Drakes, Carver Shamans, and Carver Brutes, as they come in groups and can quickly surround you!

Going to The Matlan Waterways

Step	Objective
1	Go to the Infested Barrens.
2	Infested Barrens Look for the entrance to The Matlan Waterways. It can be found near the area's waypoint.
3	Enter The Matlan Waterways.

Once you enter the Temple of Kopec from the Ziggurat Encampment, you will encounter a checkpoint. The map comprises mainly of a linear area. You will need to activate several Canal Levers to drain the water from the canals that hinder you from progressing through the area. You will need to reach the Final Control Lever at the opposite end of the area during the quest Legacy of the Vaal.

It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.
