What is Magic Find (MF)?

Magic Find or MF is the term the community uses to refer to stats that increase the rarity of items found in Path of Exile 2. This also improves the chance of obtaining higher-tier items, such as currencies and waystones.
Many builds are centered around Magic Find to maximize profits when farming maps in the Atlas. It's a bit risky focusing on Magic Find, as some people prioritize this stat over defensive ones, making them more prone to dying on higher-tier maps due to the lack of resistances.
Magic Find is affecting the meta because of classes that don't require much defense stats, where they can spare a modifier slot for increasing rarity of items.
How to Get Magic Find Gear
Buy at the Trading Website
A lot of gear focusing on Magic Find are listed in the official traiding website. You can use the Stat Filter to only show gear with a "#% Increased Rarity of Items Found" stat, then set the minimum and maximum numbers depending on how much Magic Find you're aiming for.

Craft Gear on your Own
Crafting gear is also another method in obtaining Magic Find gear. Use different currency items on your gear to reroll and get the Magic Find stat. You can also risk corrupting your gear, since it's possible to go over the threshold of the stat.

Magic Find can be added as a modifier on Waystones, increasing the chance of getting rare items. The Atlas passive skill tree also have nodes that contribute to the total percentage of the Magic Find stat.
