Dodge to the Side for Melee Attacks Avoid Ice Beams

Dodge to the Side for Melee Attacks

Olroth has a variety of melee attacks. With his sword, he can consecutively use melee swings, dashes, thrusts, and even a throwing attack. Quickly dodge to the side or keep moving in a circle around him to avoid taking damage.

Avoid Ice Beams

Throughout the fight, there are 2 types of attacks with concentrated beams of light.

Singular Tracking Beam

You will encounter a single beam of light, constantly tracking your position. Though this is easy to avoid, keeping track of while dodging Olroth's attacks can be tricky. Getting hit by the beam deals with continuous cold damage.

Six Rotating Beams

Another kind of attack with the beams would be six spinning beams of light from the sky that act like a cage. They initially come from the sky, spinning and gradually closing in on your general position. Once it is the smallest it can be, the beams continue spinning and progressively getting wider again.

Once you see these beams close in, quickly dodge roll or move out of the attack's area to avoid getting trapped and taking damage!
