Collect a Stack of 10 Chance Shards to Form an Orb of Chance

POE 2 - Disenchant for Chance Shards
You need to stack ten Chance Chards to form an Orb of Chance. You can get Shards by disenchanting Unique Equipment from the magic vendors:

Una in The Clearfell Encampment (Act 1)
Zarka in Vastiri Outskirts (Act 2)
Servi in The Ziggurat Encampment (Act 3)
Ketzuli, Architect of Time in The Ziggurat Refuge (Endgame/Hideout)

PoE 2 - Monster Drop
Orb of Chance has a chance to drop randomly while defeating enemies you encounter. This item can drop at any point in the game.

Use Currency Exchange

Orb of Chance can also be obtained by visiting the Currency Exchange NPC in every Act. Currency Exchange becomes available in Cruel Difficulty which is unlocked after completing Act 3 on Normal difficulty.

How to Use Orb of Chance

A Chance to Convert Normal Items Into Uniques

The Orb of Chance makes it possible to transform a Normal item into a Unique. This is a high risk, high reward chance since the process is heavily reliant on RNG and will either turn your item into a Unique or destroy it. There is chance of wasting a large amount of items trying to chance for your desired Unique Equipment.

To use the Orb of Chance, right click this item then left click a Normal item to apply it.
