Benedictus is a recquired boss encounter for the Act 4 Main Quest, The Search. You'll find this boss fight at the end of The Excavation area after Arastas.

How to Beat Benedictus, First Herald of Utopia

Stay at the Center of the Arena at 50% Life

At around 50 percent life, Benedictus enters an invulnerable phase and slams pillars around the edges of the arena. This causes the area to shrink significantly, making the second phase a bit more hectic to deal with.

Fortunately you'll have enough time to reposition during this, so move toward the center to avoid being hit by falling debris.

Follow Benedictus and Pass Through the Maze

During Phase Two, Benedictus occasionally becomes invulnerable and moves to either end of the arena. A maze of walls then appears in the center, dealing heavy physical damage. Failing to pass through the maze in time results in a lethal hit.

Stay close to Benedictus as he becomes invulnerable and moves. Once the maze appears, navigate through the openings to avoid the damage once the maze explodes.
