Avoid Using Town Portals

Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) Use Waypoints

Avoid using Town Portals and stick to using waypoints will not trigger the Failed to Join Instance error that shows up on using portals. There have not been any reports that causes the bug when using waypoints so it is best to use them often. The developers have not addressed this yet but we will keep you updated as soon as a fix is made!

An Error When Using Town Portals

The Failed to Join Instance bug appears on the chat menu when you use the Town Portal to head back home. This can show up multiple times whenever the portal fails to place you in an instance of the area you are teleporting to.
