Equip the Summon Rhoa Mount Gem
The Summon Rhoa Mount is a Persistent Skill Gem belonging to the Ranger persistent skill group. It's a level 14 skill so you'll first need to progress to at least level 58 to be able to equip the gem and activate the mount.
Equipping and activating the Rhoa Mount Skill Gem will also cost 60 Spirit so be sure to consider if having the mount is a mandatory option for your build.
Rhoa Mount Gem Effects and How to Get
Left Click on the Rhoa to Mount It
Once you've activated the Rhoa Mount skill, a Rhoa companion will be summoned and will follow you. You can click Left Mouse Button on the Rhoa while holding a valid Weapon Type to mount the Rhoa.
Use the Mount Minion Hotkey on Controller
On a controller, you have to assign Mount Minion to a button to mount or dismount your Rhoa companion. Remember that you would have to be holding a valid Weapon Type to mount your feathery companion.
Effects of the Rhoa Mount
Use Bow and Ranged Spear Attacks While Moving
While riding the Rhoa, you'll be able to use ranged spear attacks and bow attacks without losing movement speed. This makes the mount a great mobility kiting tool that can allow you to blitz through the battlefield while hurling ranged attacks while being untouchable.
Aids You in Battle While Dismounted
When you dismount, the Rhoa will function as a companion and will aid you by attacking enemies. This makes it a benefit as well even while not mounted as it can provide extra DPS.
Stagger Builds Up When Hit While Mounted
The major downside of riding a Rhoa is the stagger meter builds up when you get hit similar to guarding and parrying. When the stagger meter is full and you get hit by an enemy, you'll be dismounted and stunned which can cause your death so be wary when mounted!

Hello user! On a controller, you have to select a new hotkey or button for the Mount Minion skill in the Set Skill Bind Menu. You can access this menu by pressing the Square Button on the Dualshock 4 while in the Skills Menu. Hope this helps!
