Utzaal is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 3. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in Utzaal!

Utzaal Location Details
The Ancient City

Utzaal is an ancient city that can be accessed from Ziggurat Encampment. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.
This area is filled with enemies stronger than any regular enemy you've fought in the story. Enemies such as Gelid Zealots and Viper Legionnaires will deal more damage than what you are probably used to, so don't be surprised if you die faster than usual!
Going to Utzaal

| 2 |  Pass through the Gateway in Ziggurat Encampment to travel to the past. |
| 3 |  Go southeast and down the long flight of stairs. Enter Utzaal. |
Sacrifical Heart
Enemies can also drop the Sacrifical Heart item, which you can use in the next area, Aggorat.

Once you enter Utzaal the Ziggurat Encampment, you will encounter a waypoint. The area comprises grid-like paths, with there being two main areas connected by the small arena where you will fight Viper Napuatzi.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

Beside's the amount of Poison damage Viper can deal, the phase where her legion thrust their spears can be a challenge. The most consistent way to dodge all these attacks is to Dodge Roll on rhythm regardless of when you're about to get hit or not. This way, you don't have to worry whether to Dodge Roll or not.
