How Does Minion Instability Work?
Scales With Minion Life and Fire Damage
The Minion Instability Support Gem mainly scales by 15% of the Maximum Life your Minion currently has and converts it to Fire damage. With that in mind, Minion Instability's potency can increase by allocating into passives and support gems that increase Minion modifiers and Fire Damage.
It is important to note that the damage and scaling of Minion Instability are entirely independent, meaning its damage is not considered to be player damage. However, it can inadvertently get boosted by player equipment such as the Sacred Flame Shrine Sceptre and Sceptres that increase Minion Life.

You can unlock the Minion Instability Support Gem in the Gemcutting menu by engraving the skill using a Level 1 or higher Uncut Support Gem.

I would like to know whether the damage from the explosion counts as damage from the player character or from the minion. I would assume the latter but it would be nice to know whether this scales with anything other than the minion's hp.
