Chaos Orb is a Currency in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2). See how to get Chaos Orb and an overview of the item.

Chaos Orb has a chance to drop randomly while defeating enemies you encounter. These items can drop at any point in the game.
In the Official Path of Exile 2 Website, you can use the Trading Page to easily search for items that are being sold. You can use this to purchase items in exchange for different currencies.
Chaos Orb can also be obtained by visiting the Currency Exchange NPC in every Act. Currency Exchange becomes available in Cruel Difficulty which is unlocked after completing Act 3 on Normal difficulty.
Chaos Orb can also be purchased through the Ritual League Mechanic, though the availability of the item is highly dependent on the RNG of the game, it is possible to buy this item as one of the Favours after completing Ritual Altars. You will need to earn Tributes to purchase items from Favours.
Chaos Orb has a higher drop rate when completing the Trial of Chaos. If you are looking to farm Chaos Orb completing challenges in the Trial of Chaos will have a higher chance of giving this item as a monster drop or reward.
