Uncut Support Gem engraves support gems for skills and is a guaranteed reward from the campaign or a random enemy drop in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2). See how to get and use Uncut Skill Gem and an overview of the item.

Guaranteed Rewards During the Campaign

| 1 | Act 1: ・Complete Treacherous Ground and claim it from Renly
・Drops alongside a Skill Gem after defeating
・Drops after defeating
 The Rotten Druid
・Find the Haunted Treasure inside the Tomb of the Consort and defeat the Rare Enemy.
・Look for the Dryadic Ritual in Freythorn and complete it.
・Search in The Gallows in the The Manor Ramparts and click on the poor soul hanged from a noose
Act 2: ・Open the Guarded Sarcophagus in the Buried Shrines
・Clear The City of Seven Waters
・Destroy the Effigy in the Shrine of Bones in Mastodon Badlands
・Complete A Theft of Ivory quest
・Complete A Crown of Stone quest

・All previously guaranteed Lv. 1 Support Gems from Acts 1-2 will now be Lv. 2 |
| 3 | No Guaranteed Drops:
・Lv. 3 Support Gems can only randomly drop starting Act 3 of Cruel Mode

Uncut Support Gems are rewards you receive as you progress through the Campaign either as a form of compensation from notable characters, drops from Enemies, or a prize for visiting secret areas. Always look out for these guaranteed drops as they are imperative to progression.
Dropped by Enemies
| Tier | How to Get |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start getting as early as Act 1 on Normal. |
| 2 | Start getting once you reach Act 3 on Normal. |
| 3 | Starts dropping upon reaching Act 3 in Cruel mode. |
Uncut Support Gems are randomly dropped when defeating enemies. Higher level Uncut Support Gems are dropped as you progress through the campaign and achieve higher levels.
The table above shows which Act, on either normal or cruel, will specific levels of uncut support gems start dropping from enemies.

How to Use Uncut Support Gem
Engrave with Gemcutting
Uncut Support Gem is used by right-clicking it to open the Gemcutting menu and then engraving your chosen skill. Once engraved, the gem can then be equipped in your skill slots.
