The Prisoner is sealed at the depths of the Abandoned Prison, at the very end the Solitary Confinement area of Act 4.

How to Beat The Prisoner

Always be Near the Ballistas

The Prisoner How to Beat.png

At specific life thresholds, The Prisoner becomes stunned, creating an opportunity for a powerful ballista shot. Failing to interact with the ballista when he gets stunned this way causes The Prisoner to regenrate life making the fight significantly harder on your resources.

To make sure you're able to launch the ballista bolts on time, try to stick to the walls where the ballistas are so you can easily access them when needed.

You can use the entrance to the circle to avoid the ice circle and ice explosions he does.

This guide sucks. I found staying close to him and dodge/move around him. Usually my dodge negates his close AoE attacks. In the 3rd phase(ballista) he does a dangerous new move so constantly move.
