Chimeral Wetlands is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 3. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in Chimeral Wetlands!

Chimeral Wetlands is an area that can be accessed from Infested Barrens. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.
This area has a vast layout with dense, heavy trees and greenery full of enemies such as Prowling Chimerals, Diretusk Boars, and Ill-Fated Explorers. Near a checkpoint, you will encounter an open space called the Deadly Nest, where you will fight Xyclucian, the Chimera. This boss can deal a high AOE cold attack that can freeze you and leave you vulnerable to more damage, so make sure to get out of that spell's range!.
How to get to the Chimeral Wetlands

| 1 |  Teleport or create a portal to Ziggurat Encampment |
| 2 |  Go to the Jungle Ruins. |
| 3 |  Look for the entrance to Infested Barrens within the Jungle Ruins. Note that maps are randomly generated and this is only a sample layout meant as a general guide. |
| 4 |  Enter the Infested Barens. |
| 5 |  Look for the entrance to the Chimeral Wetlands within Infested Barrens. Note that maps are randomly generated and this is only a sample layout meant as a general guide. |
| 6 |  Enter the Chimeral Wetlands. |
From the Ziggurat Encampment, travel to the Jungle Ruins and look for the entrance to the Infested Barrens. Upon entering Infested Barrens from the Jungle Ruins, the entrance to Chimeral Wetlands can be found on the opposite side of the region.

The Chimeral Wetlands will be unlocked upon progressing through the quest Legacy of the Vaal. The area comprises narrow paths that branch out. Upon reaching the far corner of the opposite side of where you enter, you will encounter Xyclucian, the Chimera. You will also unlock the entrance to Jiquani's Machinarium after defeating the boss.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

At the early stages of the fight, Xyclucian will stand on top of towers around the arena and will fire different projectiles at you. You can attack the towers they're on to destroy them and stun Xyclycian for a while to deal some good damage.
