Jiquani's Sanctum is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 3. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in Jiquani's Sanctum!

Jiquani's Sanctum is an area that can be accessed from Jiquani's Machinarium. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.
This area has a vast, complicated layout with cramped spaces full of enemies such as Vaal Skeletal Squires, Prowling Shades, and Pale-Stitched Stalkers. The enemies here can quickly corner and overwhelm you, so be careful! You will also encounter the Grand Soul Core Nexus, where you will fight Zicoatl, Warden of the Core. This boss will attack you with AOE lightning spells, so try to equip charms and rings with lightning resistance!
How to get to the Jiquani's Sanctum

To unlock Jiquani's Sanctum, the boss Xyclucian, the Chimera in Chimeral Wetlands must be defeated first. Only then would the entrance to Jiquani's Machinarium be unlocked. Go through Jiquani's Machinarium to enter Jiquani's Sanctum.

Jiquani's Sanctum will be unlocked during the Legacy of the Vaal Quest. Once inside Jiquani's Machinarium, look for a Small Soul Core found within the area to open the Stone Altar, found on the opposite side of the area's waypoint. Upon placing the Small Soul Core on the Stone Altar, the entrance to Jiquani's Sanctum will open.
The area itself comprises long, linear paths set up like a grid. To progress through Legacy of the Vaal and to fight Zicoatl, Warden of the Core, look for two Medium Soul Cores to place on the two generators found within the area. Once both generators have Medium Soul Cores, return to Grand Soul Core Nexus, near the Jiquani's Sanctum entrance and waypoint. Retrieve the Large Soul Core, and the boss will awaken and attack you.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

Zicoatl has a lot of telegraphed laser attacks that you can Dodge Roll or reposition to dodge. The red triangle wave, however, is a bit deceptively hard to assess where to reposition to avoid damage. Always remember to stay in front of the triangle's vertices or points to stay out of trouble!
