The Drowned City is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 3. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in The Drowned City!

The Drowned City Location Details

The Drowned City is an area that can be accessed from Ziggurat Encampment. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.
This area has a simple layout with vast paths and what seems to be a once-thriving city. Though you have a bit more room to move, the area is filled with enemies like Drowned Explorers, River Hags, and Chyme Skitterers, who can quickly swarm and corner you.
How to get to The Drowned City

| 1 |  Activate all Canal Levers in The Matlan Waterways to drain the water in Ziggurat Encampment |
| 2 |  Teleport or create a portal to Ziggurat Encampment. |
| 3 |  Proceed to the entrance to The Drowned City at the bottom of the encampment. |
To unlock The Drowned City, all Canal Levers in The Matlan Waterways must be activated to drain the water surrounding Ziggurat Encampment. Once the water is drained, a long flight of stairs becomes accessible, located behind the town well, southeast of the encampment.

The Drowned City will be unlocked during the Legacy of the Vaal Quest. Upon talking to Alva outside of The Drowned City, travel through the area to go to the Apex of Filth to progress the quest.
A path in the middle connects two main areas. Upon entering the second main area, one side will lead to the Apex of Filth. Meanwhile, the other entrance will lead to The Molten Vault, connected to the Treasures of Utzaal Quest.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.
