Centuries of Filth

Apex of Filth is an area that can be accessed from The Drowned City. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the Legacy of the Vaal main quest.

The area has long halls full of filth and muck, with enemies such as Foul Blacksmiths, Pyroshroom Cultivators, and Flathead Clubbers roam, waiting to attack you. Upon reaching an area called the Stenchpools, you must fight the Queen of Filth.

How to get to Apex of Filth

Step	Objective
1	Teleport or create a portal to Ziggurat Encampment.
2	Proceed to the entrance to The Drowned City at the bottom of the encampment.
3	The Drowned City Look for the entrance to the Apex of Filth within The Drowned City. Note that maps are randomly generated and this is only a sample layout meant as a general guide.
4	Enter The Apex of Filth.

The Apex of Filth can only be unlocked after activating the Canal Lever from The Matlan Waterways. From the Ziggurat Encampment, make your way through the Drowned City, where you can find the entrance for The Apex of Filth.

During the Legacy of the Vaal quest, you will have to pass go through The Drowned City. Upon entering The Drowned City, the entrance to the Apex of Filth can be found in one of the corners of the area, along with the entrance to The Molten Vault. A landmark you can look out for when looking for the entrance to the Apex of Filth would be a tall flight of stairs.

Once you enter the Apex of Filth from The Drowned City, you will encounter a waypoint. The map comprises long halls that branch into different directions like a maze. The boss, Queen of Filth, can always be found somewhere in the middle of the area. The Cauldron Keeper for the Act 3 Mushrooms Quest can be found on the opposite side of where you enter.

It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.
